How are parents involved in ABA therapy?
Families play a vital role in the success of any ABA therapy program. Every child’s program includes twice-a-month Family Guidance sessions led by your child’s L.E.M.Y.S Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
During these sessions, BCBAs work directly with caregivers to:
- Set 2–4 personalized goals that reflect what’s most meaningful in your home life
- Share evidence-based strategies to help with real-life challenges, like potty training or transitions
- Teach the principles of ABA in a practical, approachable way
Empower parents with tools and techniques to reinforce learning outside of L.E.M.Y.S therapy
Coordinated care:
The most meaningful clinical outcomes occur when families, L.E.M.Y.S clinicians, and healthcare providers work in alignment. With your consent, your child’s L.E.M.Y.S BCBA coordinates care with pediatricians and other specialists. L.E.M.Y.S maintains a network of approved speech and occupational therapy providers who can deliver sessions at our centers.
The Standard: Effectiveness and Accessibility
We believe effectiveness comes from a united front. Our BCBAs lead a collaborative effort with your child’s entire medical team, ensuring every goal is backed by a full circle of support. By offering a network of partners right at our centers, we make growth more accessible and less stressful for your family.
Making Care Affordable:
We know that navigating costs can be a challenge. That is why we work with major insurers to provide in-network care. Our dedicated insurance team takes care of the complex paperwork and benefit verification, making the path to ABA therapy clear and affordable for every family.
